Stretching

Stretching involves applying force in a specific manner to achieve elongation of the muscle to improve elasticity and tone. It is a necessary component to increase muscle performance. Over worked and constantly tight muscles does not enable us to use the muscle efficiently therefore increasing flexibility enhances performance and reduces our chances of injury.

Passive Stretching: Therapist applies stretch whilst patient in a relaxed state

Active Stretching: You will be taught how to perform particular stretches on your own, suitable for your condition
